Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cookies

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup crisco (I use the butter flavor)
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (that's what the recipe says... I do more like 1 1/2 cups , sometimes mixing choco and peanut butter chips.)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- In a large bowl, combine sugars, butter, crisco. Beat until light and fluffy. Add yogurt and vanilla, and blend well.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes (the are done before they are brown, especially in my horrible oven!) If you're using 2 cookie sheets, switch them halfway through baking.
